How It Works

Laser hair removal is the use of laser energy to produce long term hair reduction. The heat from the light of the laser is absorbed by the pigment, or melanin, in the hair which destroys the hair follicle. Not all hairs are growing at the same time and actually go through three distinct phases: growth, regression and resting. Laser hair removal treatments work on the hair that is in the active growth phase at the time of treatment. Since hairs enter this active growth phase at different times, multiple treatments are needed to achieve the best results possible. Laser hair removal can be performed on all parts of the body including face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini lines, chest and back.

Electrolysis
